Oklahoma State Rep Calls Gays “Bigger Threat Than Terrorism or Islam”
Mrs. Kern is a former Oklahoma City social studies teacher and currently represents Oklahoma City in the state legislature. At a recent Republican club meeting, she unleashed a homophobic tantrum that was captured on tape.
During her tirade, Kern accused “Gays of infiltrating our city councils,” and attempting to “indoctrinate students as young as two years old with the homosexual agenda.” She went on to call homosexuality a “deadly cancer,” and declare that “the homosexual agenda is destroying this nation,” and “is the biggest threat our nation has, even more so than terrorism.”
Lastly, she reminded attendees that “studies show that no society that has totally embraced homosexuality has lasted more than two decades. ”
I’d really like to get my hands on that study.
Although we question Mrs. Kern’s research skills, Politics & Funk agrees that the gay agenda is a ruthless one.
In fact, every day the lesbians down the street from our office use aggressive tactics such as blaring Ani Difranco and refusing to sleep with men in order to further subjugate our editorial staff. They’ve stated that their vicious, gay jihad won’t end until we make a minimum of three Elton John playlists, or start dressing more appropriately.

For more on the Mrs. Kern’s anti-gay crusade, check out the video below and marvel at her psychosis and sweet, country drawl.

What the fuck is wrong with that woman?!? I’m not sure what point to address first:
There are 2 year old STUDENTS?
Which societies that “totally embraced” gays have collapsed within 20 years of doing so? The Republic of Buttfuckistan?

That is honestly and truly sad. To be that uninformed and that prejudice, while at the same time being in a position of influence is EXACTLY what is wrong with politics today. I can tell you with 100% certainly that my 16 month old son is not being shown gay kids books or movies about being gay. She is literally talking out of her butt, which again is most disappointing because of her public position.

Well hell lady, a society that has TOTALLY embraced homosexuality must not have any male/female sex; of course it’s going to die out. Fact of the matter is, however, there never was such a society.
Then, of course, there’s the minor point that homosexuals don’t exactly have tables set up in the lobbies of schools asking the kids to “sign up here to be gay” — the gay straight alliance she’s talking about has the objective of letting people know that gays are not deformed monsters, they are part of our society — they are what they are because they are, not because they had a choice or lost a bet.
The threat that is even greater than homosexuality or terrorism is the ignorance of people like Sally Kern.

LOL Homophobia is funny. A far more threat to America is the American Government and her kind of attitude that something is wrong with everybody else because they are different. Good post though, way to get people emotional in only a few words… well done!

This lady’s political career is over. You can’t say these offensive things and think that you can get away with it.

I remember hearing about this, watching the video and wondering when Oklahoma became the yard-stick for morals in the US. Her kind died out in the 1950’s which, ironically, is still alive today in, and only in, Oklahoma. I mean, christ, even Idaho has computers in every home now… if that is how her constituents feel, well, maybe we can build a fence around Oklahoma.

Just because we dont want something to be true, does not mean it is not. Greece, Rome, and even middle eastern societies have all gone the way of a forgotten memory, and all promoted homosexuality and pedophelia. But it’s not easy to look at ourselves as the cause of a problem. Like aids. If gay sex was curtailed, the epidemic in America would have been over in 5-10 years. But lets not blame ourselves for the destruction we bring with our poor decision making, but rather it must be someone elses fault that my life is in turmoil. The truth is a hard pill to swallow…(oh, sorry, I shouldn’t say swallow, that might offend someone), but it will always be the truth.
